An artwork by António Rafael and João Martinho Moura, devoted to the science, arts and space exploration.
The two artists propose the exploration of data, techniques, algorithms, and representations inspired in the context of research and development around space exploration, creating an imaginary audio-visual concert. The public will be invited to travel into a minimal aesthetic universe. NaN is a numeric data type value representing an undefined or unpresentable value, something impossible to calculate. Collider refers to an opposite concept to that, something very concrete, used as a research tool in particle physics by accelerating particles to very high kinetic energy. During 30 minutes, the artists take the public for a travel in the deep space, starting in the earth, exploring spiral galaxy formations and finishing in a mysterious kind of black hole, a minimal aesthetic universe.
